Who are we?

We're a group of friends with over 20 years combined experience staffing conventions, we decided to come together and create a convention of our own. Check our staff page for more information on us.

What is Condition?

Condition is a fan-run Furry convention held every summer since 2010. Since then, we've been trying to become more inclusive, reaching out to the fan community of London and inviting them to run panels at Condition. We welcome people of all fandoms to come to Condition, because we're sure you'll have a blast.

What's a convention?

A convention is a large gathering of people who share a common interest, in this case it's fans, writers, artists and costumers gathering to have a good time. There are often special guests, events and a dealer's room at a convention.

Where is Condition: Blue going to be?

Condition: Blue will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton down on Wellington Road in London Ontario Canada. Click here for a map

When is Condition: Blue?

Condition: Blue will be held from July 27th to July 29th, 2012.

What kind of events do you have planned for Condition: Blue?

Here's a few of the fun events we've got planned for this year:

Team Nerf Tournament: Teams of 3 people compete to see who can come out on top and be crowned Condition's Team Nerf Champions.
Fursuit Games: Fun for costumers of all types, silly games that challenge your abilities while suited up.
Dances: Spend your night dancing to some fantastic music and thumping beats courtesy of our DJs.
Variety Show: Got an act you'd like to perform in front of the people at Condition? Then this is the event for you!

Do I have to wear a costume to come to Condition?

Definitely not. Most people who come to Condition do not have costumes, and that's quite alright. If you want to wear a costume though, that's awesome. We have people dressing up as Jedi, stormtroopers, anime & manga characters, and people in steampunk outfits in addition to people in fursuits, so wear whatever costume you like!

How did you guys come up with the idea for Condition?

The idea came to Frostscar when he was upside down on a couch, blood rushing to his head. He said aloud, "Hey, we should run a con!" From there we brainstormed, figuring out the reasons that we go to conventions (hanging out with our friends, and partying), and the reasons that we don't go to panels at conventions (lack of interest).

Using those ideas we decided that we'd put together a con that's great for hanging around, making new friends and partying, while creating a bunch of panels that people want to go to.

Tell me more about Condition:

Condition: Blue is the sequel to Condition: Red and is the third in a series of conventions with an unique premise. See the continuation of our multiple year story arc that will span the following three years.

With Condition: Blue we are continuing the story of our ongoing struggle for control of the Four Points, which is both the name of our fictional island nation where all of our events are staged as well as being the name of our venue for the convention.

We want the convention to be an immersive experience for all of our guests. A multitude of events are planned for the convention, many of which will be interactive. Our opening and closing events will highlight our themes and serve as a bridging event into the following convention.

The cook, has decided to cook up a little celebration for the war has ended, free markets reign again and jazz fills the streets! It's almost like the 1920's all over again!
